Catie Chase
Lead Vocal
Catie is St.Louis born, Dallas bred and now California Grown! Her singing career began around the age of 3 in the back of a woody station wagon harmonizing with her also professional singer mom. She studied classical piano, and dabbled in guitar and flute. She was raised appreciating all kinds of music – everything from the Chorus Line soundtrack to the latest 70s tunes from John Denver or Starland Vocalband.
Her musical career includes roles in many musicals, lead vocalist for a Dallas based professional show band, house piano singer for an elite restaurant, and most recently band member of Blue Cowboy and Route 1 Jam. It was her time in Texas that made her fall for country, but she is still a sucker for a great rocker. In San Francisco, she and her husband joined Glide Memorial church where she was a member of their gospel ensemble.
She has now found her spot as lead singer for Catie Chase and the Getaways and is thrilled to be able to take pleasure in one of her biggest passions performing for her favorite audience members and other passions: her husband and three great kids!
